In this portion of Scenario #3 you have a more intricate process for handling your seniors. Make a backup copy of your working file and then do a save as and rename this file "Region 12 Seniors" At this point you will process your entries exactly the same way as for the 14 and under swimmers with the exception that you must clean up the data for the older age groups.

In this example we have the following results.  The following swimmers will not be attending swimmers 5, 6, 14, 19, 22-31

You will need to run the event and DQ these swimmers.  (Advice if you don't reference the names but the placing make certain that you DQ in the hierarchy of last to first.  The reason for this is as you DQ swimmers it automatically reorders the event.  So if swimmers 2 and 12 were not attending and you deleted swimmer 2 the swimmer that was listed as 12 has become 11 so you may accidently delete the original 13th swimmer who is now listed as 12th.  Seems convoluted but after you make the mistake once it will make sense.

Your new list should look like this:

When you have done all the events and are pleased with the results make a backup copy of the file and email that backup to joe@swimtaaf.com

You are now finished.  You should have emailed Joe two files.  The 14 and under list and the Seniors list.
